Croatian fans were delighted as they left Moscow's Luzhniki following their 2-1 semi-final win over England on Wednesday.
They even created a special song for their opponents "England, sorry for tonight".
Braticevic Boze, a Croatian supporter, was pleased with the result. "We thought that it would be penalties, but then Mandzukic scored a goal, wow. It was crazy," he recalled.
English fans remained upbeat. Terry Nicolas said, "This is the farthest we've gone to for a long time, so I'm a bit proud, but a bit sad. It's not the end of the world, we'll be back in four years".
The FIFA World Cup final will take place in Moscow on July 15, when Croatia play France.
